As promised, a guest post from my better half:
Well I really don't know what to expect out of my visit to Las Vegas with the Poker Bloggers that my husband, GCox25, is always talking about. All I know is he has not stopped talking about it from last year. I do know to expect very little sleep, lots of drinking and maybe a little poker playing and –EV gambling. (I learned –EV from him and he learned it from the rest of you)
I really don't know why my husband asked me to come this year, but I know it means a lot to him for me to be by his side. I'm looking at it kinda like an anniversary gift. GCox25 and I went to Las Vegas 13 years ago on our honeymoon and I haven't been back.
I met many bloggers at our home while hosting Okie-Vegas the past two summers, so there is no doubt that I will get along with everyone. We all had a grand time and I am looking forward to seeing the folks I have already met like:
Maudie - Katitude (and Keith) - Gracie (and sweet, sweet Pablo) - Jordan - TripJax (and ChickJax) - Dugglebogey - F-Train - Yestbay1
I’m also looking forward to meeting all the new people that my husband already considers his friends. I was never quite sure what to make of his little hobby at first, but after almost 3 years now, it is safe to say that I know he has made some good friends that he will have for the rest of his life, with or without poker.
With a week to pass, I am getting more and more excited as the days go by entirely to slowly. My husband is already a complete nervous wreck, making himself sick with anticipation. I’m not sure what he will be like next week or if he can last that long.
Get ready Las Vegas, you will soon have Mr. & Mrs. GCox25 on your hands to deal with and hopefully we'll take home some of your money.
One note to the Imperial Palace bar staff:
Please be sure to stock up on Vodka and Jack Daniels before next Thursday.
That’s all I have, but I am looking forward to hanging out with all of you in one short week. I know that if you can have the effect that you do on my husband over the intertubes, we will most assuredly get along well in real life.

Ah, I had no idea MrsGCox would be making the trip. Very nice. I look forward to sharing the wonders of the hognut with you. Don't worry, this is a blackjack term and not something gross I'll attempt to do while Gary is in the restroom.
